How to convince my parents to go to New York for my birthday?

I just went there and it took our family lots of planning... I wouldn't expect to go there in less than a month. It took our family a few to plan... also, if you're in a financial situation, why would you be asking for a trip to New York... do you have any idea how expensive it is? I'm guessing you do, since you've been there before.. but honestly, I would ask for something a little less expensive...
