What are the chances to get into UC San Francisco?

I'm wondering if it would be easier to graduate from NYU, or other schools of this education level, and go to UCSF for Pharmacy school. Or would it be easier to go from UC Berkeley to UCSF. I'm wondering this, because I've heard of branches such as UC being more willing to accept people that have already been in said branch. Also I have plenty more questions, so if anyone would be willing to let me contact them and talk to them about it all it would be very helpful.
