To New Yorkers: am I a New Yorker?

I was born in Brooklyn and moved to Vancouver, Canada when I was four. Been there ever since. I love visiting NYC and I'm probably going to apply to NYU for college. To all New Yorkers, would you consider me a fellow New Yorker?
